Speakers:

Brett Beasley: Brother Brett has served as pastor of Second Baptist Church West Frankfort for over twenty-one years. He previously pastored in Texas. He is a native of Southern Illinois and the family farm. He holds an MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a DMin from Luther Rice Seminary. He is married to Phoebe, and they have one son, a daughter and son-in-law, and one grandson.

Roger Ellsworth: Brother Roger began preaching at age fifteen and has more than fifty years of experience in pastoral ministry. He has held pastorates in Illinois and Tennessee, and currently serves in itinerant preaching ministry and interim pastorates. He has authored almost fifty books. He is a graduate of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv). Brother Roger is a gifted scholar and preacher with a heart for the local church. He lives in Humboldt, Tennessee, and is married to Sylvia. They have two sons and daughters-in-law and five grandchildren.

Geoffrey Kirkland: Brother Geoff is Elder/Shepherd at Christ Fellowship Bible Church in St. Louis, Missouri. He has a passion for the local church, and a heart for missions/evangelism. He has an active street preaching and abortion mill ministry. He serves alongside His father at Christ’s Fellowship, now as the church’s primary pastor. His sermons and articles can be accessed via his blog, vassaloftheking.blogspot.com. He holds bachelor’s and MDiv degrees from The Master’s Seminary in California. He is married to Elizabeth and they have five children and reside in St. Louis.

Tom Rush: Dr. Rush serves as Evangelist with TREAD Ministries, Monroe, Georgia, and is Staff Evangelist at Liberty Baptist Church, Hartwell, Georgia. He also serves as a Project Leader with The Great Exchange, a college campus outreach ministry. He is a native of East Point, Georgia, and a graduate of Georgia Tech (BSIM); Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv); and Immanuel Baptist Theological Seminary (DMin). He has been in full time evangelism for over four years and has preached in numerous Bible Conferences and revivals across the country. He held pastorates for 34 years in North Carolina, New Mexico, Florida, and Georgia. He also served as Reserve Chaplain in the Navy and Air Force for 28 years, retiring from the Air Force Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2005. Among several active-duty tours, he served as the Joint Special Operations Command Chaplain in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom, 2004-2005. He is the author of Your Reasonable Service: Understanding Your Motivation for Ministry, published by West Bow Press, 2017. He has served in numerous denominational positions of leadership: President of the 2017 Georgia Baptist Preaching Conference, member of the Executive Committee of the Georgia Baptist Mission Board, and currently serves as a Trustee of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Rush is a widower, married for 42 years to Victoria and together they had three sons and nine grandchildren. His blog is available online at (treadministries.org).

Worship Leader:

Tom Clay: Brother Tom has led worship in all six previous Encouraged to Endure Conferences. He has served as Associate Pastor/Director of Music Program at Grace Life Church of the Shoals in Alabama since 2005. He has a passion for worship, and local church worship in particular. He has also served on staff in churches in Illinois. He holds a Master’s Degree in Worship Leadership from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He loves to provide assistance to local church music leaders, and has a keen understanding of Bible-saturated, glory of God focused worship. He is married to Marla and they have two daughters and one son in law. They are natives of Illinois and now reside in Tuscumbia, Alabama.
